  From my experience, this is 1 of the few books available out there the basics of making Mexican bread and sweet breads. I look into this book as a cookbook, reference and really enjoy these types of books. The 2nd edition is better because of better organization and layouts of recipes. There are about 6 new recipes in this book/5(78).   The recipes, blending Spanish, Mexican, and Californian cuisine, include Butterflied Lamb in Pomegranate Juice, Adobado (Chile-Soaked Pork or Spareribs), Grilled Trout Wrapped in Fig Leaves, and Strawberry Enchiladas with Sweet Milk Tortillas/5(28).
